Koala Driving Academy is a state-approved third-party road skills testing site in Baton Rouge.
Registration Requirements:
- If you are 16, you must hold a valid learner's permit for at least 180 days.
- If you are 17, you must present either a valid learner's permit or a Certificate of Completion for the Teen Driver Education Course.
- If you are 18 or older, you must present a Certificate of Completion for the Adult Pre-Licensing Course.
A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign consent forms for anyone under 18 taking the road test. If you are physically or mentally handicapped, you must complete your road test at the DMV.

Roads Skills Test - Your Car
If you meet the registration requirements listed above, you can take the road skills test at our driving school. The test consists of an on-the-road evaluation of your knowledge of the basic operation of a vehicle as well as your mastery of driving laws and skills. You must obtain a score of 70 or above to pass.
What's included:
- One Road Test Attempt in Your Vehicle (approximately 30 minutes)
You must provide a vehicle with valid liability insurance, license plate, and inspection sticker and undergo a vehicle inspection by the instructor before beginning the exam.
